Riding Lessons Unlike Any Other…

Did you know that riding lessons programs can be one of the most lucrative business practices involving horses? This is because the traditional model riding program maintains students for years with little or no progress forward! The average rider never progresses beyond 2nd level dressage movements. The average horse will only make it to 1st or 2nd level dressage before the demands on them physically, mentally and emotionally stall them.

Why? That is a question whose answer is very unfortunate. The average riding instructor has no formal training or prior experience in a teaching environment before they start teaching riders, and most will never achieve any education directly related to teaching and instructing. Since the average equestrian will not progress beyond 2nd level, we can surmise that the average riding instructor has only obtained the skills needed to reach 2nd level but not beyond.

You will not hear such common phrases as heels down, shoulders back, more forward, sit deeper at Awareness In Riding. The reason is because we teach you how to achieve these habits as SECOND NATURE – not having to struggle every ride to obtain them! Every rider willing to put in the needed time and effort can ride beyond Grand Prix levels no matter their preferred discipline. And horses are ridden in a way that does not injure them or prevent them from going beyond Grand Prix movements – no matter their breed!
